Low slung and well balanced, there are few boats that can match the incredible ride and handling of this Deep-V hulled battle wagon. A comfortable and roomy flybridge for a 29, it is equally at home cruising or when friends get together for some hardcore offshore fishing. The huge cockpit is great for kite fishing sails, kings and dolphin, as well as for lining plenty of friends around the gunwales for a night of dropping baits out on the reef for snapper and grouper. A remote controlled electric anchor windlass is located forward. Access to the bow with tall and secure bow rails for safety while traversing forward. There are 4 S.S. fishing rod holders flush mounted in the gunwales. Four additional rod holders on the half tower and another four making up the rocket launcher. Lounge out on the large engine box cushions which are also somewhat well protected from rain and sun by the extended aft bridge deck overhang. Cockpit is protected with coaming pads. An aluminum half tower with three sided enclosure protects the passengers from the same sun and rain while on the bridge deck.
There are a total of three fuel tanks onboard the 29 Blackfin. In 2014 these tanks were exposed and throughly inspected for corrosion and pitting. Both "saddle" tanks were removed and replaced with new tanks. The main tank was determined to be in excellent condition and did not warrant any further attention nor replacement. The three tanks combine for a total of 250 gallons capacity.
